Mindfulness Music - Did you know that I offers music wellness sessions.
This is a unique and serene experience that requires nothing but a little time, space and an open mind. I invite participants to ‘press pause’ on their everyday stresses and pressures by allowing the sounds of music and nature to guide them into a calm and tranquil state of being.
I have run these popular wellness sessions at Orbit Wellbeing Festival as well as for a teenager Rika ACE CIC camp and for Ashfield Scouts camp.

Songs of remembrance.
Holland and Winter Skies are songs from my Album ‘Holland’.
'Holland' is a song inspired by my Grandfather, Maurice Syson who used to write love letters to my Grandmother when he was stationed in Berlin as an RAF police dog handler. He would write 'Holland' at the bottom of his letters, which stands for 'Hope our love lasts and never dies'. He would continue this tradition until his death. I wrote this song in first person, imagining how I would feel going to war leaving loved ones behind and what would keep me going. This song is from my Album 'Holland' which has been remastered by ED:IT and released this year. It features Den Johnson on backing vocals and harmonica.
'Winter Skies' is a song that I wrote when dealing with the loss of my other Grandfather, Roy Stone to Bone Cancer many years ago. He was the kindest, caring and most wonderful Grandfather. In this time of remembrance I think of loved ones passed and how I am so grateful for their love and the time that we shared. This is a song of grief and comfort as I believe they are never forgotten and we can honour the people that we loved in how we choose to live everyday.

Creativity Time
Having a lovely couple of creative evenings 💓 Feel so full of joy! A little creativity time goes a long way to making me feel more me! Sketching, painting, song writing, doodling and just having heaps of creative fun in a non pressure kind of way! Does anyone else get that 'stirring' need to just 'create'... to set your inner creative child free??
I love it when my mind is free from its usual 'busyness' and everyday 'pressures'... When I'm creating something, whether it's a song or a piece of art... I'm in the moment, I'm focused and I'm free! 🥰👏😃
I really love times like this when I'm not overthinking, I'm just letting my hands and heart guide me just for the fun of it! So grateful for moments like these! X X X 💓

“The Best Gig EVER!” is what a lovely crowd member from last night’s Gig at Carrington Triangle Folk Club in Nottingham said to me after the show! How epic is that?! Thank you so much! 🥰 It truly was a magical evening!
I absolutely loved Lauren South’s set… hearing some of her new material and songs from her debut album ‘Tiny Boat’ played live was spell bounding - I urge you all to see Lauren perform live if you can as she plays her instruments with such a natural grace and her songs will take you on a story weaving journey from the seas to the starry skies! You will be left enthralled and inspired believe me.
Carrington Triangle Folk Club is a warm and friendly folk club... They run every Wednesday from about 8pm onwards with singers night (all welcome) and a booked guest once a month! Well worth a visit as there are so many other talented musicians enjoy!
